The final date documents may be stamped and mailed by the Post Office to be considered for a program; mailed application documents bearing a postmarked date on or before the postmark deadline are considered “on-time” by ISTS and will be processed.
How do I apply?
To apply for the [name of program], please visit https://aim.applyists.net/[insertprogramkey] to create an account and log into our online application system. You may return at any time to verify the status of your application or make changes prior to the deadline.
I am trying to apply but it’s asking for a Program Key. What is it?
The alphabetic designation representing a specific scholarship program; each application will have a designated code for access.
Consult with the program sponsor or contact ISTS.
I’ve won. When will I get my check?
Any notification you receive identifying you as an award recipient will also include the date on which that program’s checks will be disbursed.
Please review your notification for the specific date. For most programs, award checks are mailed in August to the recipient’s address as listed on his or her Profile Page at https://aim.applyISTS.net and are made payable to the educational institution of the recipient’s choice, pending program sponsor’s approval.
How do I check the status of my application?
1. Go to https://aim.applyISTS.net
2. Log in using your e-mail address and password
3. The first page you will see is the home page of your account – All started applications will be listed here
Each started application will have a current status of either:
Started – An application is in progress, but has not been submitted by the applicant. The applicant must go through the Save/Submit section of the application in order for the application to be sent to ISTS.
Submitted – An application is in progress, and has been submitted but a supplemental form or required document has not been received or is incomplete.
Complete – Indicates that all requirements for this application have been received and processed.
Under each application on the Homepage, there will be a list of requirements for completion. Each requirement will have one of following as a status:
For Supplemental Forms:
Not Started -A request has been made to send instructions to complete a required form but the receiver has not yet opened the form. Each application will have a specific tab used to request the completion of a supplemental form. The application tab will show the following status on each request:
Create Request – An application is in progress, but a required online form has not been requested by the applicant. The applicant must generate a request through their online application to begin this supplemental process.
Requested or Emailed – An application is in progress, the required online form(s) has been successfully requested by the applicant, but the requested party has not begun the supplemental process
Started – An application is in progress, the required online form(s) has been successfully requested by the applicant, but the supplemental process has not been successfully submitted by the requested party
Complete – An application is in progress, the required online form(s) has been successfully requested by the applicant, and the requested party has completed the supplemental process
For Required Documents:
Not Received – This requirement has not been received and is not being processed or the document has been received but was not accepted.
Processing – This requirement has been received and is being processed. The amount of time a requirement has the status of “Processing” varies.
Accepted – The requirement has been received, processed and approved
